Best on their challenging background different kind of children admitted in Sarthak with multiple education challenges likewise such as no smell of education (Never gone to school ), dropouts, not smart in studies and some are not interested in education. Their is a government norm, children will sit in a standard according their age irrespective having a knowledge or not of that standards curriculum.for example - It is mandatory that a boy of age of 12 years have to sit in a 6th standard only whether he have or have not abilities to match up 6th standard curriculum.
We have hired 5 academically qualified and experienced teachers. Our teachers take extra efforts to give basic educational knowledge from A,B,C..., 1,2,3....to most of the children irrespective their age. We try to educate all those children according to their age, intellectual ability and understanding their interests. This is very difficult task to create interest about the studies in them.
In addition to we are trying to develop left brain of the children. For left brain development we take some exercises and activities. Some of our kids have acquired the skills of writing with both hands.
We also take help of E-learning system for education. It helps children to understand clearly and quickly.
Last year, 4 children received training in the Welding Trade at ITI College. This year, 07 children completed an Electrical Diploma and 1 child completed the Welding Trade at Government ITI. With these special skills, they will certainly be able to live their lives with dignity.
So far, 31 children have become self-reliant and are now living a dignified life through their own skills. The institution also arranged the marriage of a girl after she turned 21 years of age. She now has a baby girl and is happily settling her family with the blessings of all donors.
Sarthak institution is striving to bring children into the mainstream of society by protecting them from external criminal tendencies, bad habits, and wrong deeds, and by giving them the joy and rights of their childhood along with the new light of education.
All types of facilities are provided free of cost to all admitted beneficiaries in the institution. No kind of expense is taken from their parents for this. The government-registered Sarthak Seva Sangh institution runs with the help of all donors.
Separate hostels have been built for boys and girls. All children are provided with a clean and healthy environment, nutritious food, and facilities for physical and mental health. Education is an important part at Sarthak. Special teachers have been appointed to bring the children's academic level in line with their age.
A sewing machine center has been started for boys and girls. 15 girls at Sarthak are skilled in sewing. Along with this, girls are also given daily training in block printing.
With the aim of providing modern education to the children, a computer training center has been set up, where separate training is given to children. To develop an interest in reading among the children, a library has been created, where children who love books read them.
Children are involved in every activity of Sarthak. Older children are given training in brickwork, plastering, cutting, grinding, welding, roof setting, plumbing, sewing, and painting. These skills give them a lot of confidence to survive in the outside world.
Our own children have completed the entire construction of the poultry themselves, taken training, and today they are running a poultry of 500 desi Kaveri chickens very efficiently. Because of this, the children in the institution get desi eggs to eat.
In December 2025, we started the Hydroponic Project. In this, a polyhouse has been built on 10,000sq.ft. of land and work has begun to grow various types of leafy vegetables using the hydroponic method, so that the children in the institution get different kinds of vegetables to eat.
Eating together, studying together, working together, playing together, and living together creates a feeling of unity among them. With this feeling of unity, they have found their own home and family, whose name is 'Sarthak'.
