We have a sewing centre for girls where we have 8 Auto semi-commercial good quality sewing machines, 1 pico fall machine and 2 Manual sewing machines. Here our 09 girls and two boys learn stitching skills. They can stitch Hand Bags, Jumpsuits, Masks, all types of Blouses, Frocks, Ghagras, Dresses and shirts. Now they are learning to cut and stitch trousers from a Master tailor. Children of 4th standard and above are learning sewing skills in this sewing centre.
Grand Celebration of 'World Sewing Machine Day' at Sarthak Seva Sangh, Ambale (Taluka Purandhar, District Pune)
Today, on July 9th, the birth anniversary of Elias Howe, the inventor of the sewing machine and a great pioneer, was celebrated with immense enthusiasm at the Sewing Training Center run by Sarthak Seva Sangh.
The main attraction of the event was that the young girls from the training center wore a variety of attractive and modern dresses that they had stitched themselves over the past year. By showcasing their self-made outfits in a fashion-show-like presentation, the girls brilliantly displayed their talent, creativity, and skills.
